Found this on Happy Cow and even though it was a 45 minute drive from our accommodation it was worth it. Very delish! I ordered the 3 rich protein and my boyfriend ordered the tempeh dish. Both very flavorful and the owners ate both very sweet.

We stopped in on the way down to Wellie for some lunch that catered to our group (not the sort of place that's usually on my radar). I ordered the aubergine and seasonal vegetables and was delighted with how flavourful every element of the dish was. My favourite side was the red cabbage, although my friend's beetroot was also delicious. It's sure on my radar now!

My husband and I went to Vegan Buffet(Not Buffet) twice, as tourists from Belgium. In general: waw! :-) The food was very good, we especially loved the dishes with rice (and lots of pure, nice vegetables). Beautiful for to eye, great taste! The owners are super friendly, purely authentic with a good heart. Good vibes all over the place! The prices are very low for the good quality: we paid 26 NZ Dollars per person, (which is like 14 EUR) to have an entire dinner. The first time was already very good. Now we went there the second time, my husband and I are simply delighted! Definitely a place worth your try! Enjoy this happiness!
